Why Your Support Matters
ARF (Humane Society of Jackson County) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our tax-exempt status can be verified through Guidestar and the IRS (EIN: 56-1575881). With only one part-time staff member, ARF is powered almost entirely by dedicated volunteers who give their time to help animals and pet owners in our community.

Your support makes a direct impact. On average, ARF spends about $200 per animal for rescue and care—and often more when an animal arrives sick, injured, or neglected. With adoption fees typically set at $100, donations help bridge the gap so we can continue providing lifesaving care to dogs and cats in need.

In addition to rescue efforts, ARF works with Catman2 to help subsidize low-cost spay and neuter services. Your contributions also support everyday essentials such as food, medical care, cleaning supplies, safe housing, and transportation to no-kill shelters.
